- Recruitment & Placement Preparation - From the moment of your first encounter, our client services team works with you to ensure you have a full-time teaching position and a new home you can be proud of. Our placement preparation is overseen by a team of client services coordinators with decades of experience recruiting, interviewing and hiring highly effective teachers.
- J-1 Visa Sponsorship - Our client services team works relentlessly to ensure paperwork processing that usually takes months can be accomplished in weeks. Our processes align with school and district timelines. We offer teaching placements of up to 5 years, with our team guiding you each step of the way.
- Health Insurance - At IE2 Services your wellbeing matters. We provide comprehensive health coverage to all participating teachers and their families. This is in addition to any insurance coverage your employer may offer.
- Pre-arrival Support - The IE2 team is here to help you prepare for this exciting new chapter in your life. We can help you with everything you need for your big move, from booking your departure flights to finding and setting up utilities for your new home, we will set you up to succeed.
- Arrival Support - A member of our team, yes a real person sent just for you, will meet you at the airport to assist with all your arrival needs including: securing baggage and personal belongings, transportation from airport, temporary housing (if needed until permanent housing is available)
- Orientations That Actually Help - Not just paperwork or generic videos, but intensive preparation and support for reality in American classrooms and communities. Our intensive orientation process is research-based and modeled after methodologies utilized by many of the world’s leading education and public service institutions. All sessions are led by our client services coordinators, each with real-world experience living and working abroad or by seasoned international teachers that have successfully navigated relocating to the United States through a visitor exchange program.
- Practical Support During the School Year - We realize that your need for support does not end after the school year begins. Our regularly scheduled check-ins are relevant, impactful and all about helping you be successful in both your classroom and new community. We utilize video conferencing, telephone calls, email chats and in-person site visits to offer our teachers support that is customized for them and their unique situation.
- Fair Compensation - Exceptional teachers should not have to worry about receiving fair and adequate compensation. IE2 Services ensures that teachers participating in our exchange program are compensated on the same salary scales as their American colleagues with similar experience and professional accomplishments.
